Probably the most popular product in the world can be produced in several ways using the wide variety of DJM machines. Whether produced on a diaphragm machine, a forming machine, extruder or co-extruder, the produced meat balls are either perfectly round or have a home-made appearance.
Perfectly round balls can be produced using the DJM diaphragm or co-extrusion technology. Production capacities start from 250 kg/hr up to 7.500 kg/hr using multiple heads (as an example for a 30 gram meat ball). The patented pressure dividing system ensures extremely precise portion control. Additional machine options include different diaphragm/iris shapes and designs, height-adjustable conveyor belts, stepper system for optimal loading of the conveyor belt, etc.
To create a home-made appearance, producers can utilize either forming– or extruder technology. Through transportation on the belt and rolling over belt transfers, the industrial shape is transformed into a home-made appearance. Also using these technologies high production capacities can be achieved.
